DESCRIPTION : The ever iconic military style structured jacket & skirt set from Alaia's FW 1987 runway collection. Done in a rich wool, the jacket has gorgeous standalone structure with balloon sleeves and a high collar. Two columns of buttons stitched up the front of the jacket creating a beautiful line on the wearer. The high collar clips shut with 2 hook-and-eyes and finishes off the jacket perfectly. This set also includes the matching skirt, also seen on the runway. It's a circle skirt silhouette, with a high-waisted fit and full structure. This jacket style was seen in various versions on the runway and in the editorials of the respective season.
